Today Capricorn House, Yanchep played host to members of the Tryact Board, future beneficiaries and distinguished guests including the Mayor Of Wanneroo Tracey Roberts and local member John Quigley.
Tryacts Inc.'s own Jayne opened the launch welcoming the guests and providng insight to mission of the Yanchep Two Rocks Cancer Support Group. The CCWA Support Group Program aims to minimise the impact of a cancer diagnosis on the patient, their families and friends by providing people affected by cancer with information and emotional support to enhance their quality of life and the YTRCSG aims to deliver this to residents within the Yanchep Two Rocks area.
Speaking from personal experience both John Quigley and Tracey Roberts endorsed Tryacts mission by not only expressing the benefits of the Support Group but pulling on visitors heart strings with heart felt accounts of thier own cancer battles.
"We were delighted with the attendance and couldnt have asked for more support than what was displayed today by both our parliamentary representatives and the members of the community. We look forward to growing our presence within the precinct" Sue Dash- Tryact President.
An array of information was made available on Saturday for people searching for support. The local Lions Club delivered quality refreshments throughout the day whilst members of the public mingled. Kathryn Kyle led the entertainment together with local magician Ben Rafferty who engaged the visitors with music and magical tricks.
